ISPA trianing manuals

The International Sail and Power Association (ISPS) offers a sailing program with an emphasis on excellence in the safe handling and skillful use of a sail or power pleasure craft.

The course workbooks are designed to act as a home study providing self assessments. This allows each student to study at their own pace prior to the completion of a full certification course. Added to this the student has a long term reference manual.

The shore section of the course is completed when the student has completed all the sections in the workbook/manual. This manual is then used as a reference for the  practical on the water training with an instructor.

An ISPA log book provides a record of completed courses, both shore and practical. On completion of registration with ISPA for each standard, this log book with the registration seals provides proof of the students achievements and the ability for authorities, schools, charter boat companies and potential employees.

The International Sail and Power Association maintains a contract with the International Sail and Power Academy for the publishing/ printing, sale and distribution of the Association instruction manuals and logbooks.

In collaboration with the Academy the content, branding and prices of the Association instruction materials are reviewed and approved at the Annual General Meeting of the Association membership.

Manuals and log books can be purchased either from a registered sailing school or the International Sail & Power Academy.

Let us help to experience an exceptional enjoyable existence on the water. Learn safe and skillful use of a pleasure craft.
